Can I run ads without money?
Creating the ads can cost nothing. Getting them in front of strangers usually does: platforms charge for reach. So publish the same creatives organically first, and only pay once one of them proves it can hold attention. Paid reach can wait until then.
Organic first, paid later
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube all let you post for free. Use them to find which headline and which visual get watched to the end. That testing costs nothing but repetition, and it tells you what deserves a budget before you spend anything at all. The algorithm shows you what people actually stop on, and that answer is free.
Paid reach has a price
A boosted post or a campaign is billed by impression. Starting with a very small daily budget on your best-performing creative is enough to learn whether the paid audience reacts the way the organic one did. Keep the test narrow and short. Do not let a small budget change your creative: let it confirm or correct what you already learned.
Where free really stops
Free tools cover design; nothing covers distribution. If a service promises reach for nothing, look at how it earns money before trusting it. Attention is what most platforms sell, and someone pays for it in the end, usually you or your customer. Reach has to come from somewhere, and the fairest answer is a budget you chose yourself.
